Here are some pics explaining my work process on FOR SOCK'S SAKE, which I just finished in Calarts, California. I shot the clothes separately in stop motion with a digital still camera on green screen, and comped them together in my drawn Backgrounds.

I love it!
Awesome, Carlo! This film always inspires me.
I am very impressed with your work. Did you do this for the Character Animation or Experimental program?
I am writing a book on animated acting, and came up with an exercise involving animated socks before I saw this film. I would like to mention your film and site in the 'further reading' section--is that all right with you?
I can be reached at my blog, http://madcartoonist.blogspot.com
Just want to say what a great blog you got here!
I've been around for quite a lot of time, but finally decided to show my appreciation of your work!
Thumbs up, and keep it going!
Cheers
